Song of LaritheaCozy anime team-RPG

Privacy

Larithea is being made while you play it. This page describes what we collect when you sign up for news, sign in to play, or use the build at larithea.com — and how to ask us to delete it.

Emails you give us on the site

The site has a few places where you can leave an email address. In each case we collect your email and the context you gave it in, and use it only to reach you about Larithea. We never sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time (see Retention and removal below).

  • Mobile beta waitlists. If you join the iOS TestFlight or Android beta waitlist, we store your email and which platform you asked about, so we can email you when that beta opens.
  • Keep me updated. If you use the “keep me updated” form, we store your email to send occasional news about the game, playtests, and releases.
  • Feedback. If you send feedback and include your email, we use it to reply to you and to pass your report to the team.
  • Contact. If you message us through the contact form, we store your name (if you give one), email, and message so we can reply.

These submissions are stored by Netlify (which hosts the site and its forms) and may be processed by the email provider we use to send messages.

Signing in to play

If you sign in with Google to play the build, Google sends us your email address, name, and a unique identifier so we can save your progress. We do not receive your password.

Inside the game

When you start a play session, the game asks for a display name. It may also ask for an email so we can follow up with web-alpha players; if you provide one, we store it (tagged as coming from the web alpha) alongside the same waitlist emails described above. Both are optional unless the in-game screen says otherwise.

Game progress

Your save state is stored on our servers and linked to the account you signed in with, so you can return to your game on a different device. We cannot guarantee saves will carry between major builds during development.

Anonymous gameplay analytics

We use PostHog to record anonymous gameplay events (for example: which scene you reached, whether a fight was won or lost) and session recordings of the game canvas. These help us see where players get stuck. Name and email input fields are masked in recordings. We do not use this data for advertising.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers we use to run the game and the site (Google for sign-in, Netlify for hosting and form storage, our email provider, and PostHog for analytics). Each acts as a processor on our behalf.

Retention and removal

You can ask us to delete your email, account, save state, or analytics data at any time by emailing us. We keep data only as long as we need it to run the alpha.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the game and the data we collect change. The current version always lives at this URL.
